CUSTOMER POLICY · PROTECTED DAYZ MODS
License terms.
Grey GodZilla · North Carolina, USA
These terms cover purchased, licensing-enabled DayZ mod packages from this website. Free Steam Workshop releases have their own listing information.
For your server. Not for redistribution or resale.
Your server-use license
Your purchase permits use of this mod on your own customer-operated DayZ server. Do not redistribute or resell the mod files or your personalized server PBO.
The license is tied to one public server IP at a time; IP changes are allowed. Any valid DayZ game port may be used on that IP. The license is not a separate port-specific license for each server instance behind the same public IP.
Contact Grey GodZilla through GGZ Modz Discord if your licensed public server IP needs to change.
Delivery and installation
Sign in with Discord. After payment is verified, an eligible protected purchase provides a client mod ZIP and a separately personalized, unsigned server-only PBO in My account.
Install the shared client mod on the server and clients. Install the personalized server PBO in the server's root DayZServer/addons folder only; keep it off clients. No customer license JSON, helper executable, Server Kit or special licensing BAT is required.
If client signatures are required, use the matching client PBO, its signature and the supplied public key. Follow the server installation guide.
Download links expire after 24 hours and allow up to five uses. An eligible signed-in purchaser can obtain a fresh link from their account.
Online authorization is required
The protected server PBO checks the website during startup and while running. Its first authorized startup binds the purchase to the public server IP observed by the website.
Missing, denied, revoked or expired authorization can prevent startup or terminate the DayZ server process. A licensing-website outage can also prevent authorization or cause termination when the current lease expires. Players may lose their connection, and DayZ may create a crash report.
An authorization lease lasts at most five minutes. There is no additional offline grace. Enforcement is in the PBO, not a special BAT-file check.
Revocation blocks further downloads and the next authorization check. Manual restoration does not reverse a refund or payment dispute.
Refunds and support
All sales are final. No refunds, except where required by applicable law. Read the refund policy.
