This page describes the current GGZ website and protected-mod licensing system, including data used when purchases are available.
Your account, purchases and licenses stay connected.
Information the website uses
- Account: your Discord user ID and display name, sign-in session records and security tokens.
- Purchases: product and build identifiers, amount and currency, payment status, timestamps, and Stripe Checkout session and payment-intent references associated with your Discord ID.
- Licensing and downloads: the licensed public server IP and game port, license-key and download-token hashes, access status, download-use counts and expiry information.
- Security and administration: IP-derived rate-limit hashes, request counts, payment-event identifiers, revocation records and owner-action audit records.
- Support: information you choose to send to Grey GodZilla through Discord.
Discord sign-in requests identity access only, not email or server-administration access. Discord bearer and refresh tokens are not saved in the GGZ application database.
Why the information is used
Account and purchase records identify the purchaser, show their own purchases, verify payment, and authorize protected downloads. Server IP, port and product/build information let the PBO check its license. The current license uses one public IP at a time and accepts any valid DayZ game port on that IP.
Security and revocation records help limit abuse, avoid processing the same payment notification twice, and prevent a revoked or disputed payment from restoring access incorrectly. Owner controls use these records to manage builds and access.
Payments and service providers
- Stripe hosts payment entry and processes payments. GGZ sends the product, price, currency and Discord ID to associate Checkout with the purchaser. The GGZ backend does not collect or store card numbers.
- Cloudflare hosts the website, application database and request processing.
- Backblaze B2 stores private mod-package files used for downloads.
- Discord supplies sign-in identity and the support channel.
These providers may process account, request or transaction information under their own policies. Information you post to a Discord channel may be visible to other channel members. This page does not specify those providers' logging or retention periods.
Cookies and browser preferences
The website uses secure sign-in and OAuth security cookies. Sign-in access expires after 24 hours; the OAuth sign-in state expires after ten minutes. The light/dark preference is saved in your browser's local storage.
Blocking sign-in cookies can prevent account access. You can clear the theme preference through browser storage controls. Signing out or clearing cookies does not delete purchase or license records.
Retention and data requests
The current website has no automatic deletion schedule for order, license, payment-event, revocation or audit records. These records are retained; expiration of a session, download link or authorization lease does not erase the purchase.
Expired sign-in and download records can be removed during later application activity. This is not a promise that every expired record is deleted immediately or on a fixed schedule.
To ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion, contact Grey GodZilla through the GGZ Modz Discord support channel. Requests are reviewed manually; there is no self-service deletion feature or automatic deletion deadline.
Identity or purchase verification may be needed before changing records. Information needed for license authorization, payment disputes, security or applicable obligations may need to be retained. Removing records needed to prove ownership or authorize a license can affect download or mod access.
Do not post card details, passwords or license keys in a public channel. Contact support to arrange how to provide any information needed for your request.
